BionicCoat protects, preserves and makes it easy to clean.
Thanks to nanotechnology, the BionicCoat penetrates deep into the
substrate
The BionicCoat forms a molecular bond with the substrate and
substantially strengthens it
BionicProtect® has a unique composed coating for every surface
How does the BionicCoat work?
Every material requires its own coating. Also offers unique properties; from protection against dirt, corrosion or, for example, graffiti to protection against discoloration, rotting, becoming porous or frost damage. The coat makes a molecular connection with the top layer (penetrates completely) and prevents other substances, organisms and materials from adhering to it. The application of BionicCoat is very simple: with a brush, roller, sponge, vhip, sprayer or, for example, via an immersion bath.
Raw material is sicilium (sand) and is 100% ecological
BionicCoat is organic and completely sustainable
BionicProtect® stands for the elimination of
chemical and environmentally harmful non-degradable products
Fully sustainable nano sand
BionicCoat is one of a kind. The basic ingredient is silicon oxide SiO2 (nano sand). A completely natural product. More sustainable is almost unthinkable. Thanks to nanotechnology, the constituent becomes so molecularly small (smaller than water) that it can perform its important functions everywhere. This makes the coating the perfect impregnation agent. Whatever safety data sheet you compare to any apparent alternative; you will find that BionicCoat has the smallest molecular chain and is undoubtedly the best performer. Clean the world: get rid of PFAS, Teflon, Fluoropolymers, and so on.

Endless application possibilities with BionicCoat
Thanks to its unique composition and functionalities, BionicCoat can be used almost indefinitely. Whether a tunnel, train equipment or rubbish bin must be protected against pollution and graffiti, a facade against discoloration or frost damage, a disposable made hydrophobic, a wooden house must be protected from the effects of UV light and weather influences or an (industrial) working environment made ‘easy to clean’ … with BionicCoat you can arrange it in an instant. You will receive a non-decreasing warranty of up to 10 years on the effectiveness of the coating. And did you know that BionicCoat can withstand temperatures of up to 800 degrees Celsius.
How Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin withstands storm, wind, salt and UV light
The natural stone facade of this beautiful hotel in Noordwijk (The Netherlands) has withstood a lot. Too much for untreated natural stone. Read here which measures have been taken.
With BionicCoat from BionicProtect, realized thanks to nanotechnology, you can fight against water and dirt with unprecedented effectiveness and durability. The coatings also have an extremely long life. By applying you contribute explicitly to the original and ‘easy to clean’ making / keeping of objects / products / materials. By making them more sustainable, you need to replace fewer materials and natural resources are spared.
Is there a warranty on BionicCoat?
One material is not the other. And one application is not the other. For example, if you apply the BionicCoat Brick and there is no mechanical load (friction), you can rely on a minimum of 10 years non-decreasing warranty on the operation. If you opt for an industrial coating where there is a lot of mechanical stress, the term depends on the chosen version of BionicCoat and the extent to which the top layer of the coated material is subject to wear. A realistic estimate can be made based on the situation. Inquire about specific situations via info@bionicprotect.nl.
Does the BionicCoat do more than just protect?
Thanks to the applied nanotechnology, additional application advantages are created in several cases. For example, the coat is resistant to no less than 800 degrees Celsius (and with the BionicCoat Metal Ultra even up to 1,600 degrees Celsius. With hard plastic, the coat prevents the plasticizers from escaping, so that the material does not become porous and will crack. facade is made anti-graffiti, thanks to the coat. And with wood it slows down the discolouration by UV light. In the industrial process it prevents the adhesion of components to be processed (they no longer stick to the machine). other additional advantages make the coat even more special.
Which pre and post cleaning is essential when applying BionicCoat?
BionicCoat penetrates the top layer of the material. That is why the material must be free of dirt, oil, lime, corrosion, etc. before applying the coat. Every material requires its own approach. For example, metal, glass, solar panels, plastic must first be cleaned with Isopropanol (99.9% alcohol). Wood, stone, concrete and textile and clothing materials should be cleaned with BionicClean Enzyme Cleaner.
Once the coat has been applied, has cured sufficiently, and the material is in use, you will sometimes want to apply regular maintenance. In almost all cases, the BionicClean Enzyme Cleaner or the BionicClean Ultra Cleaner offers a solution (see the recommendations on this site at BionicClean). Especially for horizontal surfaces such as facades, there is the BionicClean Foam Cleaner.
What is nanotechnology and how does it work?
A nanometer is one millionth of a millimeter. Compared to a nanometer, a human hair is unprecedentedly thick, because it is ten thousand times as thick as 1 nanometer. Nanotechnology can be used in a variety of fields, including application for environmental engineering purposes. When matter is reduced to the nano level, special properties can arise. For example, the nanocoat from BionicProtect, which is even smaller in nano number than water, can penetrate sufficiently and create a crosslinking with the top layer of the material. This creates a strong protective function.
How sustainable is the BionicCoat?
BionicCoat is available on a water basis as well as with a solvent. The base is formed by silicon oxide SIO2, or nano sand. The water-based coat is a completely natural product. For penetration into glass and metals, for example, a version with solvent is required. BionicCoat only uses solvents that are completely biodegradable. So always choose BionicCoat; the natural, responsible replacement of coatings and impregnating agents with, among others, Teflon, Silicones, PFAS and (Fluor) Polymers
What are there all BionicCoats for?
Every material has unique properties. Wood has a completely different structure than metal, brick has a different structure than concrete, polyester again completely different from textile or glass … That is why there is a different BionicCoat for each material to be protected, whereby variables such as vapor permeability, viscosity and degree of penetration are some of the are variables.
